The latest update for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, which celebrates its 1st anniversary as of September 6, 2024, introduces exciting new content and features for players:
- Anniversary Campaign: Players can perform up to 300 free draws, obtain 26 5-star weapons, and claim a special set of gear from a selection of previously available items.
- Bahamut-Themed Gear and Event: A new story event, The Cetra’s Story: Birth of the Destroyer, has been added, featuring Bahamut. Alongside this event, exclusive Bahamut-themed gear for characters like Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa is available to unlock.
- Ultimate Weapons: A new type of weapon, Ultimate Weapons, can now be obtained through specific draws and exchanges. These weapons provide unique abilities (U.C. Abilities) and offer enhanced strategy in battles.
- New Feature – Brands: The update introduces a new system called Brands, where players can add randomized effects to weapons using Branding Stones, enhancing the weapon’s stats and capabilities.
- Other Improvements: The game has added quality-of-life updates such as improved battle AI, a retry button for premium quests, and adjustments to daily and weekly missions for better rewards and balance.
