The latest update for Apex Legends, titled “Breakout,” was released on February 12, 2024, and it introduced a slew of new features and changes to the game. Key highlights from this update include:

The level requirement for participating in Ranked matches has been lowered back to 20, and the scoring system is now more transparent, emphasizing eliminations over placements. - Legend Upgrades: A new in-match progression system allows players to enhance their Legends with unique upgrades for armor and abilities by earning EVO points through gameplay actions like dealing damage and completing objectives.
- Performance Mode: This mode enables 120Hz output on compatible displays, ensuring smoother gameplay.
- Breakout Rewards: These are cosmetic unlocks tied to specific Legend challenges, adding another layer of reward for gameplay.
- Retirement of Clubs: The Clubs feature has been replaced by a new personalization feature called Tags, which allows for more individual expression within the game.
The Breakout update is designed to add more depth and strategy to the gameplay while also enhancing the competitive experience in Apex Legends
