VALORANT has recently released Patch 9.11, introducing several updates to enhance gameplay and balance. Here’s a detailed overview of the key changes:

1. Agent Updates:

  • Neon:
    • High Gear:
      • Slide count reduced from 2 to 1.
      • Accuracy during slide decreased to crouch-walking accuracy.
    • Overdrive:
      • Duration reduced from 20 seconds to 10 seconds.
      • Ultimate points required increased from 7 to 8.
  • Vyse:
    • Razorvine:
      • Damage per tick increased from 6 to 10.
      • Vertical drop spawn height reduced from 450 to 300 units.
      • Now slows enemy dashes similar to Sage’s Slowing Orb and concusses.
    • Arc Rose:
      • Equip speed after cast improved for faster aggression.

2. Gameplay Systems Updates:

  • Ping System:
    • Pings are now blocked by smokes, landing on the smoke instead of passing through.
    • Map pings will only display on the minimap and not in the world.
    • New visuals and sounds introduced to differentiate ping behaviors.

3. Modes Updates:

  • Team Deathmatch:
    • Introduction of the Regen Shield in Stage 1, replacing Light Armor when using the Classic.

4. Client Updates:

  • Weapon skins can now be upgraded more efficiently, allowing multiple levels to be unlocked in a single transaction.

5. Social Updates:

  • Party chat messages now have a distinct color from Team chat messages.
  • Party flags in the Social Panel have been updated for clarity.

6. Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where the “Play A Match” weekly mission incorrectly required 100 matches to complete.
