The major Techtonica update for November 2024 marks the game’s full release with its 1.0 version, transitioning out of Early Access. The “Going Up” update introduces a lot of exciting new content:
- New Biome and Map Expansion: The game expands its world with a new desert biome and revised world map.
- Elevator and Jetpack: Players can now use an elevator and upgrade their hoverpack with a jetpack, offering new mobility and exploration options.
- Enhanced Production Systems: The update brings new machines, production loops, and intermediate resources to improve factory-building complexity.
- Complete Narrative: A full storyline has been integrated, culminating in an exciting new ending for players to discover.
- Bug Fixes and Performance Tweaks: A range of optimizations and bug fixes are included, with much more content waiting to be uncovered.
Note that the 1.0 release will require players to start a new save file, as it breaks saves from Early Access
