The most recent update for We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie was released on June 2, 2023. This update included improvements to game stability and usability, adjustments to the drawing distance in certain stages, and fixes for achievement unlocking issues on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam versions. Since then, there have been no additional patches for this title. However, the Katamari franchise has seen new releases:
- Once Upon a Katamari: Scheduled for release on October 24, 2025, this is the first new console installment in 14 years. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco Europe+1
- Katamari Damacy Rolling Live: Released on April 3, 2025, as an Apple Arcade exclusive, this mobile game introduces a new streaming mechanic where players roll a Katamari to boost the King’s livestream viewer numbers.
