Spring to Life Update (Released March 25, 2025)
This update brings a host of new features to enrich the Overworld experience:

Vibrant Visuals Update (Coming Soon)

- Dynamic Lighting and Shadows: Sunlight now filters through trees, and shadows adjust based on light sources, enhancing realism.The Verge

A Minecraft Movie
The live-action adaptation, A Minecraft Movie, starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, is set to release on April 4, 2025. To celebrate, a special in-game event featuring mini-games and exclusive rewards will run from March 25 to April 7, 2025.
