Here’s the latest update on Hunt: Showdown 1896 as of June 19, 2025:
⚠️ Update 2.4 – “Judgement of the Fool” – Rolled Back
Crytek released Update 2.4, titled “Judgement of the Fool”, on June 18, 2025. The update introduced a new in-game event, the return of the DeSalle map, and various gameplay improvements. However, the update caused significant issues, including server problems and the inability to purchase Blood Bonds. As a result, Crytek took all game servers offline to address the issues. After over eight hours, the servers returned online, but the 2.4 update was removed entirely. Crytek has stated that they will attempt to reintroduce the update at a later time. store.steampowered.com+11crytek.com+11youtube.com+11pcgamer.com

This rollback is currently available for Steam players, with console players expected to receive the update soon. Crytek is working diligently to bring Update 2.4 back online. pcgamer.com
