Here’s the latest update for GTA Online, which is currently active as of August 2025:
Title Update 1.71 (Released ~2 weeks ago)
This update brings a suite of quality-of-life enhancements and content tweaks across platforms (PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC Enhanced/Legacy):
- Skip Cutscenes that you’ve already viewed once.
- Extended Countdown before global signals highlight players during sell missions.
- Removed the Boxville Van Delivery Vehicle from Biker Sell Missions.
- Added the ability to cancel Boss work via the phone’s Job List.
- Ammo restocks in Freemode after survival missions.
- EMP can now disable both the RC Bandito and the Invade & Persuade Tank.
- Increased cooldowns for those vehicles to 5 minutes, matching Nano Drones.
- Drift-Tuned Übermacht Cypher users can initiate Taxi Work while driving.
- Race Options: When setting up Rockstar-created races, players can now choose “Ghost Until First Checkpoint” or “Ghost Going the Wrong Way”.
- Removed rank requirement for Survivals—now accessible to all.
- Updated UI and Safety Alerts including timestamps and improved reporting flows.
- GTA+ Perk: GTA+ members now receive a second daily spin on the Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel.

- New Community Race Series — a spotlight on creative player-made races, offering 3× cash & RP.

- Featured Series, including Madrazo Hits, Auto Shop Client Jobs, and others, offer 2× cash & RP.
- Rapid GT X sports car gets a new multi-stripes livery and is featured alongside up to 40% discounts.
