Fortnite’s collaboration with Star Wars, launched on May 3, 2024, introduced a variety of content across multiple game modes, including LEGO Fortnite, Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing.
LEGO Fortnite:
Players could align with the Rebels by constructing the Rebel Village and utilizing tools such as Lightsabers, Bowcasters, DL-44 Blasters, E-11 Blasters, and Thermal Detonators to defend against the Empire. Progressing through the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure unlocked rewards like Star Wars-themed builds, decor, and the Chewbacca Outfit.
Battle Royale:
- Chewbacca’s Rescue: Players had the opportunity to rescue Chewbacca from Imperial Roadblocks, after which he would assist in battles using his Bowcaster. As a token of gratitude, he provided players with their own Wookiee Bowcaster, capable of firing rapid shots or charged explosive quarrels. Fortnite
- Darth Vader’s Return: Darth Vader, accompanied by Stormtroopers, reappeared on the island. Defeating him granted players his Lightsaber, which could be used to block attacks, perform melee strikes, or be thrown at adversaries. E-11 Blasters were also obtainable from Stormtroopers or Imperial Chests at Vader’s landing sites. Fortnite
- Star Wars Quests: Completing these quests rewarded players with Battle Pass Level Ups and the AWR Pack Back Bling. The quests were released in two phases, on May 3 and May 7, and concluded on May 14, 2024. Fortnite
Fortnite Festival:
A Mos Eisley Cantina-inspired area was introduced at the Festival Jam Stage, allowing players to perform on stage or enjoy the ambiance. By completing seven Star Wars-themed quests, players could unlock the Seven-string Hallikset Guitar.
Rocket Racing:
Star Wars-themed quests in Rocket Racing offered rewards such as the Energy Binders Trail for completing 14 quests. Additionally, “May the Fourth” quests provided the Anakin’s Podracer Decal and Darth Maul Decal upon completing four and eight quests, respectively.
Item Shop:
New outfits, including Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper, were made available, each featuring a LEGO style variant. Previously released Star Wars series outfits, such as Boba Fett, Han Solo, and Rey, returned to the shop during this event. Additionally, the Beskar Car Body, inspired by Mandalorian armor, was introduced, along with the “Cantina Band” Jam Track and new instruments like the Endorian Drum Kit and Nalargon Keytar.
