In this game, players assume the role of a “Breaker,” a warrior tasked with rebuilding civilization after a cataclysmic war. The game features a co-op, open-world environment where players explore the procedurally generated world of Overgrowth, battling the mysterious Crowns and their leader, the Abyss King. Unlike its 2D predecessor, Hyper Light Breaker is a 3D game that focuses on intense combat and strategic teamwork. The world regenerates each time a player dies, ensuring a unique experience with every playthrough.
Heart Machine plans to support the game beyond its initial release, adding new characters, bosses, and other content while engaging with player feedback through forums and Discord.
